Before founding Einblick in 2019, Benedetto was a PhD student in the Theory group at Brown working with Eli Upfal and Tim Kraska on Automated Machine Learning and Neural Networks. Trained as a Control Engineer during his Bachelor, Benedetto holds two MSc degrees in Computer Science and Data Science (with Honors), from Brown and Sapienza University.
In his young years, Benedetto had an IoT-healthcare startup which he served as CEO and main spokesperson. Under his leadership the company won Italy’s top early-stage startup competition InnovAction Lab at the WWW conference, where he pitched an international committee of investors and tech-experts like Daniel S. Rose (GUST), Yossi Matias (Google) and Uri Levine (Waze). Benedetto had been an invited speaker by Sanofi-Aventis and recipient of scholarships from the Honors Center of Italian Universities (H2CU), the Italian Ministry of Education, Universities and Research (MIUR) and the European Union.
Benedetto is passionate about history and sociology, and in his Otium he records semi-old Italian songs with his Ibanez with encouraging, but not-monotonically improving, results.
